After years of chasing fancy degrees, shiny corner offices, the "happily-ever-after" relationship and the next status symbol that is supposed to make you feel like you finally have your life together, you realized there is a deeper truth you've been ignoring...

The Divine has been calling you and you heeded the call as best you could, given all that you have going on in your life. After all, somebody has to go to work to pay these bills... Somebody has to raise these children, do this laundry, give the spouse or partner quality time, cross off the million priorities on the to-do list...

Then that inner urging got louder and louder. You thought you were doing the right thing by going to church, or temple or mosque, or even just Sunday family dinner. And you kept looking: Studying your Sacred Book, journaling, meditating, chanting, doing rituals, going on retreats, reading the self-help books...

And still that hunger - there has to be something more.

And still that uneasiness... I could hear you saying to yourself...

I know... I have been there...

That is why I set out to study the esoteric aspects of religious traditions - not the stuff they give the masses... but the history, philosophy, mythologies and connections that only the priests, shamans, imams, gurus and sacred teachers know.

I went on all the retreats. I attended all the revivals and conferences. I spent 30 days in an ashram. I went on a 40-day water fast, followed by a 60-day raw fast. Then I did it again twice in a row, and once a year ever since. It was my spiritual practice that saved me from the jaws of Stage IV cervical cancer. It was my spiritual practice that healed the contentious relationship with my mother, and brought me back to a state of grace with my father.

Then in 2007 I started studying A Course in Miracles, and by 2010 I made my first sacred pilgrimage to Egypt and started teaching ACIM. Everything started falling apart and into place all at the same time.

My assumptions, old beliefs, and the lingering questions I translated into lack of faith suddenly had no more substance. And all the studying, seeking, testing and questioning culminated in a crystal clear clarity and unshakable connection to my Source that still moves me to tears to this day.

So I started teaching the Course, and tying together the Egyptian Mysteries I had been taught as well.

And that is what I am bringing to you in this program - a six week journey through the Ancient Egyptian Mysteries upon which A Course in Miracles rests.

A Course in Miracles (ACIM) is a practical guidebook to healing. Healing is to bring back wholeness of yourself, to know your wholeness, to see other’s wholeness, and to use yourself fully. ACIM is the curriculum that heals the thirst and hunger of the mind and body, cures the scar and the illness. It is a complete lecture on life dynamics.

ACIM is a book, a curriculum for self-study. It requires practice and demonstration of what you learn day by day. This practice re-patterns your thought system and sense of values. Students will obtain a new point of view about life and this world, gaining clarity about what is reality and what is not.

Let me be clear: ACIM is not a religion. It does not have a founder, organization, hierarchy, or rituals. As is clearly stated in ACIM, ACIM is not the only road. There is no one-and-only way. There is no rule or model. However, ACIM gives you a clear new thought system, and to accept and demonstrate it requires a commitment and faith, as do many other spiritual and religious practices.

It is not surprising to hear that many people find some similarity between ACIM and religions such as Buddhism, esoteric Buddhism, Taoism, Sufi, Christianity, etc.

The practice of ACIM is always done in relationships. Since we perceive everything in the world of duality, we know ourselves by knowing others. Thus, we need to know others completely in order to know about ourselves completely. When you realize the true reason why a particular person appears in your life, that relationship that has been entangled firmly is undone. ACIM has a clear vision that healing is completed at once when you open your mind to be healed together with another person instead of seeking healing by yourself alone.

ACIM is a complete collection of messages from the perfect mind of the universe intended to help you to remember who you are and to express who you are. The intent of this program is not only to facilitate this experience, but also to support our community members’ efforts to support one another and and be a witness of the light in one another. As I said before, ACIM is a self-study book, but miracles can exist only when there is a witness there. Through learning ACIM we feel, “I am safe. Nothing can threaten me. I don’t need to defend by using ego. The freedom is given me.” We designed this program to be a witness of such quantum healing.

First, let me say that for untold centuries this mind-soul body of work has been known as the "Mystery System" or the "Egyptian Mysteries." But inventions are not mysteries to the inventor. The invention is only a 'mystery' to the second-third party/onlooker/visitor/ outsider.

To quote Egyptologist Dr. Kwame Nantambu, "the ancient Kemites/Afrikans/Egyptians never called their system the "Mystery System." The Greeks ...who went to Kemet to study at the Temple of Waset (world's first university) in the B.C. era called this Afrikan/Kemitic system the "Egyptian Mysteries" because it was a 'mystery' to them, not to the Kemites."

The Kemetic Mystery System was based upon a wide array of human knowledge. It encompassed math, writing, physical science, music, religion, astrology and the supernatural, requiring tutors to be both priests and scholars. It is the foundation of most of today's spiritual traditions, including Christianity, Judaism, Islam and many others.

In Kemet, Hippocrates, the "father of medicine," learned of disease from the previous explorations of Imhotep, who established diagnostic medicine 2,500 years earlier. This early renaissance man -- priest, astronomer and physician -- was described as "the first figure of a physician to stand out clearly in the mists of antiquity" by the British medical trailblazer William Osler.

In Kemet, Pythagoras, the "father of mathematics," learned calculus and geometry from the Kemetic priests based on a millennia-old papyrus.

None of this is to say that the Greeks were without their own ideas. On the contrary, the Greeks appeared to have formed their own interpretations of what they learned in Kemet. Nor did the Greeks ever deny the credit due the Kemites for their education. "Egypt was the cradle of mathematics," Aristotle wrote. But one could make the case that the Greeks also felt that they were destined to build upon what they'd learned from the Kemites.
